KYLE MILLER
COLLEGE SHOWCASE
Kyle Miller, who was dubbed
"Mr. Softball" by our local newspaper, was a major driving force in
the Lehigh Valley. Kyle worked with men, women
and youth teams at a very young age. Kyle was inducted into the William Allen
High School Hall of Fame as a coach of the 1990 Pennsylvania Girls' State
Championship team.
The Drive, Spirit, Determination and Courage displayed by Kyle could not go
unnoticed throughout his short lifetime. Kyle battled cancer from the age of
5 until his passing in December of 1994, at the age of 24. Kyle's willingness
to help and give of himself to area teams, while he himself was fighting his
illness, could never be matched. As Kyle's presence is extremely missed,
Kyle's spirit can be found within everyone's life he touched.

THE KYLE MILLER COLLEGE SHOWCASE tournament committee is proud to report that
through the efforts of dedicated volunteers, donations were made, in Kyle's
name, to charities and organizations with special needs.
Some of these include:
- Local children with cancer
- Dream Come True
- Needy Families
- Toys for Tots
- Patriots Park in Allentown, PA - state of the art scoreboard in memory of
Kyle and new lights.
SCHOLARSHIPS: We will be
giving out four $500 scholarships. To be eligible you must participate in the
Showcase. A random drawing will be held to determine the winners. More
details will be sent to the team coaches.
OUR ANNUAL COLLEGE SHOWCASE WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 4TH
AND OCTOBER 5TH 2008.

Don't deny your players the opportunity to
showcase their talents in front of an array of College Coaches. You will have
the opportunity to showcase all of your players at one tournament.
Each College Coach that attends or requests information will receive a media
packet from the tournament committee.
This tournament is free to the public and also has parking available at no
charge.
FORMAT
- Four games of play
- 10 minute warm up per team
- One hour and twenty minutes time limit per game
- unlimited substitutions
ENTRY FEE
$425.00 per team.
$250.00 deposit required with remaining $175.00
balance due prior to the showcase.
A 50.00 non-refundable registration fee is included.
Teams
will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
